Chemical Compatibility

Please review the chemical compatibility chart found on the top of each chemical page before purchasing chemicals. Although our shopping cart will allow it, we will not ship incompatible materials in the same box. Since our cart loads everything into as few boxes as possible, your shipping charges will be incorrect for incompatible materials (excluding hazmat shipments, which are always shipped as a separate package)

IMPORTANT: If you purchase incompatible materials in the same shipment, we reserve the right to bill your card for additional costs to split the order into multiple packages or cancel part of your order and only ship partial. Please order incompatible materials separately or contact us for a special invoice with the additional charges already included.

Hazardous Materials

Many chemicals needed to make biodiesel are hazardous. You must use extreme caution when handling these chemicals. You should wear chemical resistent gloves when handling. Do not mix acids with bases or it may cause dangerous spitting and excessive amounts of heat release. Some chemicals may not be compatible with each other and cannot be shipped together in the same box. Our cart system currently does not have the ability to seperate these items automatically. If you wish to order two or more incompatible items, you must purchase and pay for them seperately, or email us requesting an invoice which can include the necessary shipping charges. (Please provide a zip code if you choose to do this.) Orders which are made with incompatible materials together are subject to further shipping charges. Duda Diesel will either bill your card for the additional charges or send you an invoice requesting payment before any further shipment can be made.

By purchasing hazardous chemicals from Duda’ s Alternative Energy Store (dudadiesel.com) you must comply with the following rules.

1. You must be 18 years of age or older.
2. You will not use the hazardous material for any illegal activities.
3. You will not hold Duda Diesel, LLC reliable for any damages caused by hazardous materials shipped to you.
4. You hold all responsibiliy for complying with all laws regarding the use and storage of hazardous materials.
5. Hazardous materials must be shipped via Fedex Ground ORM-D. No exceptions.
6. Shipping is only available to the 48 contiguous states & Canada - We cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or any other country/territories.

Standard Shipping

Standard shipping will use the best available shipping method for your location and the item purchased. This will typically be the Fedex Ground service, however, USPS Priority Mail and USPS First Class Mail may be utilized. If your address is not deliverable by USPS, please state so in the order comments and provide your USPS delivery address just in case. It is good practice to put your PO box into the Address 2 field for USPS delivery. Shipping methods may be diverted from Standard Shipping by using the drop-down box on the shipping/billing page. Items which must be shipped by Fedex Ground will always ship by Fedex Ground.

International Shipping

We ship by USPS & Fedex International services.

USPS international services provide a delivery confirmation number only, there is no tracking available.This delivery confirmation code will be created when the label is printed, but rarely updates until delivery of the item. Due to the lack of updates, we cannot provide information regarding the status of shipments when USPS International options are used. First Class Mail International is also an economical service which does not have any estimated delivery time, is often slow passing through foreign customs, and can take several weeks to deliver to a customer. Please use at least USPS Priority Mail if delivery of an item within reasonable time is required, or Fedex International if quick delivery with tracking is preferred.

All Duties and broker fees charged by foreign governments and brokers of Fedex International services are to be paid by the buyer. These entities may bill customers separately after the item has been delivered. Duda Diesel is unable to determine what these rates will be since they vary based on the carrier, foreign customs and location. As a general recommnendation, USPS services do not usually require a broker for import, and are often cheaper than Fedex International, especially when using Fedex International Ground to Canada.

Insurance & claims

We package all of our shipments with the best of care to prevent damage during shipment. Sometimes items will become damaged during transit beyond our control. Insurance is automatically applied to all Fedex shipments. Should you discover damage to your shipment, please contact us immediately to put in a claim and re-send your product. Do not attempt to call Fedex about the matter. Only we can handle the claims with Fedex.

We do not provide insurance for USPS shipments. A lost or damaged USPS shipment is not the responsibility of Duda Diesel, LLC. We recommend using Fedex for safe and prompt delivery.

30 Day Return Policy

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase date. A credit may be issued towards another purchase or if a refund is preferred, a 15% restock fee will apply. Buyers are responsible for payment of shipping charges both for the original shipment and the return of the shipment. In the case of an item with free shipping, actual shipping charges incurred by Duda Diesel will be assessed to the buyer.

Boxes containing hazardous materials may only be packaged by certified shippers. If the buyer is not a certified shipper and the box has been opened, we cannot accept returns on those materials. Unopened boxes containing hazardous materials may be returned by use of a calltag with Fedex Ground. Buyer will be responsible for the cost of the calltag and return shipping.

Duda Diesel does not accept returns on cut hose. All sales of cut hose are final.

Defective Merchandise

Products found to be defective must be returned within 30 days of purchase. The buyer is responsible for paying return shipping costs of a defective item. Duda Diesel will pay the shipping costs to send the replacement to the buyer, using the same shipping service as on the original order.

Warranty Replacement

If a product is found to have a manufacturer's defect after the 30 day return period, the item may be returned for repair or replacement if the product is under its warranty period. The buyer is responsible for shipping charges returning the item. Duda Diesel will pay for shipping charges to return the replacement to the customer.
