304 Stainless Steel has excellent corrosion resistance against a variety of different chemicals. Stainless steel fittings are ideal for many applications including water plumbing, biodiesel processors, corrosive chemical systems, alcohol systems, oil systems etc... For your specific application, consult a chemical compatibility chart such as a Cole Parmer Chemical Compatibility Database to be certain of chemical compatibility with 304 Stainless Steel.

Our stainless steel fittings have a working fluid temperature range of -196°C to +220°C (-321°F to 428°F)

These fittings are designed for use in 150 psi or less systems.
